ANZIIL Communications Group Statement
ANZIIL supports the promotion of information literacy for organisations,
institutions and individuals in a higher education and vocational
context.
Aim:
To make ANZIIL synonymous with professional development and research in
the area of information literacy.
Outcomes:
- Increase profile and awareness of the role of ANZIIL
- Increase awareness of the trends and new developments in the field
of information literacy
- Raise profile of ANZIIL events and increase participant
numbers.
Strategies:
- Disseminate information on trends and developments in
information literacy
- Promote ANZIIL events via the website, flyers and notification to
member institutions and related groups
- Facilitate and foster relationships with relevant groups
