ANZIIL Symposium Series Four - Overview

ANZIIL Symposium Series Four was held on the 6th and 7th of July 2005 at the City West Campus University of South Australia in Adelaide.

The theme was "Information Literacy: Getting Back to Basics". The program had a practical focus. Case studies and workshops addressed:

  • Whole of institution strategies and policies enabling the transition from library user education to information literacy
  • Curriculum development and assessment
  • Presentation and delivery modes
  • Quality assurance and evaluation
  • Developing an information literacy promotion strategy
  • Educative role of librarians
