Tactical Training Australia (TTA) provides a range of qualifications, trainee-ships and shorts courses recognized by the Australian Qualifications Framework including Business and Front-line management, Security Careers, Risk Management, Fire Warden and First aid. The RTO specializes in customizing accredited short courses related to the security and emergency response industry.

TTA offers six broad categories of coursework:

• Security Training – a series of security licensing and security career packages that teach guarding, airport screening and crowd control using state-of-the art tools such as pear pad security devices and techniques. Trainees can bridge the gap between licensing courses and career pathways to higher supervisory and management positions.
• Risk Management – You can earn a Certificate IV in Security Risk Management that recognizes your front-line skills developing, implementing and evaluating Australian Standard risk management plans. Also available if a Diploma of Security and Risk Management which prepares students for protecting organizations.
• First Aid – Several course are offered dealing with advanced first aid response and treatment, emergency basic life support and cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
• Fire Warden -Students help design and execute a disaster exercise, including management of casualties and application of first aid. Australian Standard 3745-2002 establishes the minimum requirements for workplace emergency procedures and evacuation requirements. Many States and Territories have applied this standard. It is also applied within the Building Code of Australia. Further specialized classed are given for Chief Warden, first attack firefighter packing a fire extinguisher, and bomb-thread procedures.
• Frontline Management – Various certificates in Frontline Management are offered to provide experience in supervising response teams while acknowledging the hard-won skill gathered on the front lines. Business Courses – Choose among Certificates in Business, Business Administration and Small Business Administration. You will learn computing and administrative skills that enhance your career pathway. Conflict Courses – You will learn to deal with aggressive clients. Proactively engage in conflict resolution, work to prevent workplace violence, and master armed robbery procedures. There is also, of course, training in Hospital Code Black violence.
