1 Broadly accessible professional development programs and activities
  • provision of seminars and workshops
  • coordination and mediation of mentoring and/or internships
  • delivery and coordination of ANZIIL Immersion Program
  • organisation of guest lectures
  • awarding of scholarships and/or grants
  • utilisation of flexible delivery mechanism
2 Focused initiatives in the promotion, advocacy and marketing of information literacy education
  • collaboration/partnership with key groups
  • provision of professional development for cross-sectoral participation
  • establishment of recognition/award programs
  • development of a marketing plan
  • development of an ANZIIL Statement of Purpose
  • continuous review and maintenance of the CAUL Information Literacy Standards
  • development and maintenance of the ANZIIL website
  • ensure that information literacy is recognised as a critical component of teaching and learning policy and practice

3 Relevant research pertaining to information literacy practice and education
